Dewey`s Restaurant & Sports Bar in Racine

Place is way overrated. I order the shrimp basket with cole slaw and fries. Shrimp was ok, but did not have any seasoning on it, so nothing special. Slaw was hot (and it’s eaten cold) and fries where burn and tasted like old oil. $44 for two of these with a drink. View is pretty and service was good. But never again.

Came from Texas and was so glad to get amazing seafood. Great place. Loved the seating and the views

Amazing food. Their steamed shrimp is to die for as well as the shrimp poboy sandwich with the amazing house made sauce. The venue is very relaxing on the water. Definitely recommend this place for a 5 star seafood.

Had a friend come to town for the night I found this place online and wasnt sure how it was going to turn out but!!!! Wow!!! This place is amazing we had a blast we will always drive from pensacola for great seafood at this place.... Its a hidden gem!!!! The staff is great and the social distancing is very easy at this location. Thanks for great food

Amazing food. Seriously some of the best seafood i’ve ever had. I go here anytime i’m in Florida to get my fried seafood cravings satisfied. Its almost become a family tradition to come here anytime we’re in Florida. It’s a little expensive which is expected with seafood, but god they know how to make some great food. All they need is to make there place a little bigger for how crowded it can get at times. The crab cakes, and fried oysters are insane. You can sit out on the dock and watch people fish, jet ski, exc. The water is clear and you can see little fish swimming around, it’s a pretty location. Couldn’t recommend a seafood place more than this one.

Over 60.00! To sit outside in the heat & sweat! Fries over cooked slaw terrible!! Snapper was good but not for what they charge!! Tables all sticky, they make you wash your hands before going in, we washed ours on the way out too! Small children running around touching the bottles on the tables! This place was recommend by two different people as the best sea food in Destin! OMG should of gone to Red Lobster!!

Our server Stephanie was amazing and very attentive. She put up with my husband’s joking with a smile. The steamed shrimp and crab dip appetizers were awesome. Three of us got snow crab legs and they were probably the best I’ve ever had. My husband got the Snapper and he said it was really good and the jumbo shrimp meal was delicious. I don’t have anything bad to say about the food or the service. (The bathrooms were dirty and in DESPERATE need of a deep cleaning and some hand soap) highly recommend this place.

The friend shrimp was and has been very good. My wife loves this place and is a must stop every time her or her family come down. I would say five stars but the fries have been cold and the hush puppies cold as well. The shrimp tastes great.

Overcooked shrimp, cheap crinkle fries.....YUCKMy friends burger was black and hard "well done" clearly translated to charcoal bricket. Table wasn't particularly clean. Food was delivered without the proper utensils. Best thing.....the scenery.

Excellent. A pretty plain fish shack in the good sense. They have a number of entrees and sandwiches both fried and grilled, using very fresh, locally caught seafood. They also have a few appetizers and chicken for those who don't want seafood. I had the gumbo and fried shrimp platter that were both very good.

The food is good but the view from the dock at sunset is unlike anything else!! This is our must stop every year when in Destin! We love to eat and watch the dolphins play as the sun sinks ❤

I wouldn't recommend this place. I saw so many good reviews so I thought why not. The staff was rude and cared more about gossiping then taking my order. I ended up ordering sea scallops and that was a horrible decision. They had no flavor whatsoever. I only got 8 scallops, one corn, and two potatoes. I was still hungry afterwards. Paying $20 for my food and still being hungry is ridiculous.

It was decent food and I gave it 3 stars for the view. Otherwise, it would have gotten 2. The shrimp was chewy and overcooked but the grilled Mahi and smoked tuna were delicious. The rest was good, but not any better than other seafood places I've been even coming from a landlocked city in Alabama. It didn't stand out. Everyone was crowded on top of each other, and even though tables were 6 ft apart, the queue doesn't have stickers or signs or even tape to encourage a 6 ft distance. When I went to get a table, it was dirty and clearly not sanitized. There is a hand washing station that no one uses, but nothing on the tables like wipes, and none of the staff bothered to wipe down or clean empty tables in the hour that I was there. They handed my husband a barely full bottle of Purell and a handful of napkins to clean the table HIMSELF with instead of offering to do it.

Outstanding. Little hole in the wall place (get there early!) but the food is excellent. Just the kind of place that makes tourists feel like locals. I can't say enough about this hard to find place. It was the highlight of my trip. Get the grilled fish...whatever is fresh. You can not go wrong. Would rate 6 stars if I could!

What a fun place! A small operation down by the water. The fish and birds entertained us in an absolutely stunning setting. We had scallops and oysters. There were delicious, very fresh and lightly breaded.

Great little off the beaten path restaurant. Unpretentious. Great seafood. The fried shrimp were a favorite; very light batter, not greasy at all. Grilled gulf shrimp were also great and the red snapper (market catch) was amazing. We saw dolphins right from the dock!

Amazing seafood! You won’t be disappointed. This isn’t fine dining - this is fresh off the boat and on the plate food. Casual atmosphere on the docks. Hands down best icee I have ever eaten. Make sure to try the banana pudding or scarlet O’Hara. Icee trailer is located right next door. This ain’t for kids folks - it is legit dessert!!!

Hands down some of the best sea food I have had in a while. Service was quick and everyone was really friendly! You have to make this place a priority if you are wanting good sea food.

The food is very fresh. I ordered the fried shrimp colossal portion and got 12 for $17. The shrimp here are not season before frying. Neither is the batter. Still good. Cocktail sauce is amazing. Hubby got the shrimp your peel it was steamed and he chose medium. Now that was superb. Seasoned to perfection. Also got the crab cakes they were awesome. I enjoyed the service and the tables on the dock. Feels family owned.

The food was good. I ordered the shrimp tacos. The lady who answered the phone and took my order was kinda rude. She acted like it was a bother to have to answer the phone. I also didn't like having to give my card number over the phone. They stated it was because I had never ordered from them before.

This spot gives the casual boater a nice place to stop for some okay food but for someone from out of town it wasn’t the best. Our shrimp and scallops were very overdone (rubbery) and the corn and potatoes just had zero flavor. On the other hand the crab dip and hush puppies were amazing. Honestly I just feel like they should keep everything as is but lower the price point a bit.

This was one of the best places we found. The food was fresh and delicious and the prices were good. The portions are large so don't order too much.We left wishing we had found it sooner. It was our last meal before leaving town so we missed out on trying more of the menu. If you're in town for a short time, go early in your trip so you can go back. We paid more at other places that weren't as good.

Great views and laid back atmosphere. Food is served fresh and made to order. A bit pricey but well worth it

The tuna basket was great. My wife loved the peel and eat shrimp. She got the spicy flavor and they were delicious. My kids didn't care for the hot dog and chicken fingers. The place isn't fancy, you order at the window and they bring it to you. The seating are picnic tables. But the views are awesome.

Great food, awesome view! We will be back! They had fried, grilled and steamed seafood with yummy sides - fresh potatoes and corn on the cob.

Love it. Great food. Social distancing and hand washing outside before you enter. Food servers wear masks appropriately and wear gloves. Beautiful view of crab island.

Love Dewey Destin's! I had the Snow Crab Legs and they were large with lots of meat. There is nothing like being able to sit next to the water while having a great meal. The service is always done with a smile and asking if they can get you anything else!

Awesome place right off the water. Quick service of all foods especially the sea food. I loved it.

Me and my girlfriend both shared a large basket of shrimp which was enjoyable, that being said I felt that the price was a little on the pricy side being $21. The sides were not as good as we were expecting and tasted much like your standard bar food except for the hush puppies which were marvelous. The atmosphere is very classic beach aesthetic. I would come again but hold the fries and more hush puppies.

A solid play for seafood on the water. Local type dive digs, but, the open shack on the bay motif makes for a great casual experience. The food is solid, not great, not bad and the prices are about what you would expect. Self-service, seafood shack missing all the glitz and glamour but good folks and solid food in a cool location so give it a go.

It's been years since I've been to Dewey's but things haven't changed a bit. Fresh top quality seafood. I have a snapper sandwich and it was excellent. I tried my wife's grouper sandwich and it was very good as well. The fries and slaw were just ok. All in all we enjoyed our experience. Dewey's is a must stop for this vacationing in Destin.

I was very sketchy about this place. It was off the road and the road was a total dump. The restaurant was just a small shack. I was going to leave but got talked into staying. The food was AMAZING! One of the best sandwiches we had while staying in Destin. I would recommend 10/10!!!
